I purchased the ATM bank for my granddaughter's birthday. Her two older sisters each had one so she really wanted this bank and it was available in PINK. The other two are gray. She was so excited when she opened it, ran to get her money and, with a little help, entered all the necessary information. The digital readout was fine at first but when she was feeding in the money, it gave garbled information. Nothing we did changed that. When I returned home, I contacted Highlights who sells the ATM through Amazon. The help I received was wonderful. The person I spoke with said he would send another ATM. I asked if it could be sent directly to my granddaughter and not to me as I live two hours away. He said that would be fine. I said I assumed he would want me to return the faulty one. He said no, I could dispose of it any way I wished. The new ATM reached my granddaughter in just a couple of days and works just fine.
I give Highlights a big A+ for customer service.

I bought this for my 8 year old daughters birthday. My daughter has a difficult time saving her money. She either losses it or spends it as fast as it gets in her hands. My son got one from santa and he loved his. I saw how wonderful it was and got one for my daughter. Now when she gets money it goes in the bank. She loves seeing the total add up each time she puts money in it. Now she can start saving her money. The best part the kids love is having "their own credit card" and a secret password. This toy comes with a specific atm card however we found that any card works. If I had another child I would buy one for them too.

My eight year old daughter wanted this for Christmas so that she can play grocery store and use an ATM like Mommy & Daddy. Well, we were not disappointed. The atm/bank lives up to its claims and it has really encouraged my youngest to ask lots of questions about money and when you should save and or spend. She also uses it as she plays grocery store and her customers can pretend to withdraw cash for their purchases. Fun for all!

Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R30722ZG257ZDU My 5 year old daughter (almost 6) received the pink deluxe ATM and my 8 year old son received the gray deluxe ATM by Summit. Of all of the toys they received for Christmas this was they one they played with the most! It was very easy to figure out. They each set their own pin number (with my help) then proceeded to deposit their money, withdraw it, then do it all over again. It makes lots of loud noises and the volume cannot be adjusted.
It takes any bill but will not recognize the amount. You have to enter the amount of each bill after it is sucked into the machine.
It does recognize coins and will add each one to the balance.
To start all over again, you have to do a withdraw. First, select "Withdraw Money" then press the "Open" button to open the drawer. Then enter the total balance and press enter to reset the balance to zero to start all over again!
The drawer on my daughter's machine fell off, but my husband popped it back on easily.
It is designed to hang on the wall if desired. However, Daniel and Dana like to carry it around with them from room to room.
I would recommend this to a friend!
