My son was 10 feet tall! Nov 03, 2007
By Dare to Shelter My eleven year old son was 10 feet tall when he received this robo-plane. Though it is made of a cushiony foam material, I was surprised at the durability. My son crashed this over and over as he was getting the hang of flying it, and it came through without a scratch.
Very fast, just like the videos show, and once in the air...Wow! A very cool toy!

Didn't work out of the box Jan 06, 2008
By K. Ross We were SO incredibly excited about this toy. This was to be my son's BIG birthday present. We carefully followed each step in the directions, charged it for an hour, and NOTHING. We tested the power to check that the remote control batteries were in correctly, but no power at all. I know other people are have trouble with this plane as well. I am a member of a message board where several of us have purchased this product, and many of them are returning them. Those who did get them to work, said that they were broken in a matter of minutes. I'm boxing mine up tomorrow...

XPV R.A.D. Robotic Air Defense Blue 49 MHz Feb 02, 2008
By Staze Craze I purchased two of these (one red and one blue) for Christmas so my 11 year old son and I could fly them together. When they arrived they looked like they were very cheaply made out of foam and thin plastic. I decided to give it a try anyway assuming that it needed to be lightweight to fly.
We took them out to the park and my son was very excited. We quickly found out that they are very difficult to keep in the air for longer than a few seconds. My son's got off the ground twice (3 seconds each time) and crashed to the ground (grass) both times. After the second flight/crash the plastic propeller guard, one of the propellers, and part of the foam tail broke. Needless to say it was unable to fly anymore. My son was so upset that I let him attempt to fly the other one. The second one broke too a few minutes later and could not fly.

Fun but not easy or durable Jan 12, 2008
By C. Ashley This does fly very fast unfortunately it takes awhile to get the hang of how to get it to stay in the air once your up. It broke after first flight but we were able to get it fixed with the handy first aid kit that comes with it. Make sure you have a huge open area to fly it in or your day will be over quick.

Toy didn't work, looked cheap, and box was taped shut Jan 18, 2008
By Wendy Harris I purchased this product for my little cousin. When I received the package I was disappointed. The box was all taped up, like it was a return or something, and the toy was made out of styrophome. I overlooked all of that thinking when he opened it and saw everything it did he wouldn't care if the box was taped. Well he opened it and charged the thing and tried to play with it and nothing happened. I will never buy another one of these. I feel like I got ripped off. I think it may be to late to return(it was a christmas gift), so I guess he's stuck with the piece of junk.
