I and my wife often ride bikes together. Before we bought this bar, I used to ride her bike with the carrier, and she rode mine. Since we are different height, she had to lower the seat on my bike each time we went for a ride, and I had to pedal without being able to fully straighten my legs because it's very hard to change the height of a seat on a bike with the mounting bar installed. The additional mounting bar for my bike completely solved this problem. All we have to do now is just swap the seat between bikes which is very easy. With this bar you can even do things such as drop-off your child at some place leaving the seat there, and then someone can come to pick-up him/her on another bike with the bar installed.

Easy swap. Good to have one! May 10, 2011

We have a WeeRide seat and use it with my wife's bike. But when my kids want to go on a bike ride and I want to take the baby with me, I had to ride her bike. So I bought this extra bar and now I use my own bike with the WeeRide. I actually pull a trailer with two kids in it and then our baby in the WeeRide seat. So under my peddling power I am transporting 4 people. It's fun!

My wife and I both have Giant bikes. The wee ride just doesn't fit right with my wife's bike. It is hard for her to ride bike with it on. I have longer legs so I can still pedal fine. Bar and wee ride are good, just didn't fit her Giant Sedona
Best infant bike seat around Nov 27, 2012

I had to buy this replacement bar because I lost my first one after my other baby grew up and started riding her own bike. With the birth of our son several years later, a couple house moves later, the pieces got lost. So i ordered this bar, popped it back on and we were off to the races. Another child gets to appreciate another bike ride with mom, dad, grandpa, big brother and whomever else because we all enjoy the fit and the comfort of having the little one right in front of us as we ride the bicycle.
