By violet This toy is a bit old fashion, and not as exciting as a dvd, but the grandkids go back to the reels I buy for them at least every few days. I have two viewers, which hold up very well, and given that the kids are 5,4,4 and 3 it's pretty amazing that the reels look battered but hold up too. Dinosaurs was a hit.

problem with sounds May 19, 2009
By Nuprin Got the 3D sound viewer and this set of reels for my 4 yr-old. The reels had only 2 sounds that kept repeating(clicking sound most of the time) and it left my daughter with much frustration. It would have been better if I had just bought a viewer/reels with no sounds at all so she wouldn't expect it each time she clicked away. After reading other reviews it's plain to see that good old viewer we had growing up would be just fine !
