Many may remember when the Tamagotchi phenomenon exploded in popularity in 1996 when Bandai launched the virtual pet. The small egg-shaped virtual pet sold more than 40 million units worldwide. Since 2004, three new versions have been introduced, the most recent being Version 3, which came out January 2006. Our journal features cute and colorful Tamagotchi characters.
