Wow! May 23, 2007

I bought the Super Soaker Aqua Shock HydroBlitz to play with my cousins (aged 7 and 10) and we all had a blast. The gun is incredibly fun. It has two firing modes: continual stream or burst mode. I was initially afraid about hitting people with a powerful burst of water, but the energy disperses quickly with no danger to the target. The stream mode is typical of the smaller super soakers, except with such a large capacity water tank (101 oz.) it has a much longer duration.
The only real downsides with this toy are: first of all it is enormous. It looks like something out of a terminator movie when my cousins try to hold it, so not only bulky but its heavy. Also, even with such a large tank, the burst mode uses an incredible amount of water. I had to purchase the backpack attachment to get more than a few minutes use out of it! And lastly (though this is true of all super soakers) the pumping is labor intensive! Especially with this one with the cranking arm.
By far one of the best super soakers out there!

Too cumbersome Jun 02, 2007

I bought this supersoaker primarily for its shock value. It has a nice big tank (101 oz.) and it makes you feel like Jesse Ventura in Predator.
However, the big tank has a major downside: it takes forever to charge it up. By the time I get it pumped up completely I am usually ambushed and soaked with the much more nimble (and I believe much better) Super Soaker Max Infusion Flash Flood. Once you've exhausted about half the volume it has a major weak stream and it is impossible to pump it up completely.
On the positive side, it is one of the few Super Soakers with a strap (wish the cheaper models had these) and it just looks cool.

amazing gun better then the cps series Apr 11, 2007 amazing gun with huge 101 ounce capacity most people don't know about it and its not that big so its not very intimidating but once they see it shoot they are running attach it to a max infusion backpack to hold a total of 201 ounces of water

Fun, but be gentle with it Aug 09, 2007
By Ian McAllister I bought this super soaker to keep by the front door so I could easily pull it out and spray my dogs when they bark at people walking along in front of house. In that capacity, it works great. It has two modes; a big blast and a more focused stream. I like to alternate to mix things up ;-)
My only gripe is that after a few weeks of use the gun cracked across the bottom and now leaks. It used to leak a little but now it leaks more.
