Next to the Slave I, the Republic Gunship is one of my favorite vehicles in Star Wars. When Attack of the Clones came out I had to choose between the Slave I and the Gunship and being a fan of the Fett's, I choose the Slave I, man did I ever make a mistake. It seemed that with every other variation of the ship came a harder chance to find one and when I looked on ebay, people were asking ridiculous prices.luckly when I was at wal mart the other day I spotted the toy in one of the isles and was so happy. The ship itself is beautifully crafted and more detailed than I thought it would be. Something that I really liked was the Star Wars version of a WWII pin-up painted on the front of the ship. I haven't really done much with it yet besides build it but so far it was worth the money, the only problem I've had is there are some missles that attach to the doors that don't go on cuz the machine didn't cut them right, but its doesn't matter cuz they don't really fire anyways haha. Another thing that bugged me were these "grappling" hooks on the back of the ship, they don't detach and there is nowhere to put them so I think I might cut them off. Overall great toy mine is pretty much gonna be displayed with my 20something clone troop army and V-wing fighter. Oh yeah if your looking for the ship you can find it at wal mart for 50 bucks.

My opinion is that Hasboro is the only way to go with this product. For collecting or constant use as a toy. My purchase was for my 10 year old grandson that is very Star Wars savvy and only something authentic would do. The moving parts are sturdy enough to stand up to repeated use. I was surprised at the detail of the model when compared to the actual Star Wars images. Judging by the repeated use of this model by my grandson, I would have to say it was a bargain even at collector pricing. I am pleased with both the product and the seller from whom I purchased it.

We bought this gunship for our 6 year old son. He is a Star Wars fanatic. He is very happy with it. He plays with it a lot, he loves putting his action figures in it.

This is an excellent toy. TO start off, It's much more durable than the other vehicles being released alongside with it (AT-TE, AT-AP, ARC-170, etc.) all the pieces stay together and is very simple to put together. With the doors open, I was able to fit 9-10 troopers on, without and remaining space. It also comes with spare missiles, should you lose any. get it quick, scalpers and fans alike are picking them up!
