5Fast Efficent and Easy to Use.  Jul 15, 2007 By Like Saving Money "Saved some buckS"
I ordered this and got it 4 days faster than promised. I had a little trouble installing for the Palm Treo 700 but went to the Spectra web site and got one and all is good. I get excellent reception all through the house and even outside. I can use it anywhere there is an open wireless network and I have WEP 128 bit at home and work and have no problem accessing them both.

5Does the job.  Jun 22, 2008 By William S. Grigsby "Ycat"
Bought this for a refurbished Navman PIN 570. It arrived quickly in new blister packaging. Took about a half hour total time to setup and connect to my existing wireless network (802.11g - Linksys router). It also saw 3 other networks in the neighborhood - one more than 2000 feet away. I've also tried it in some local wireless hotspots (our Telephone/Internet company is providing free hotspots all over town - sweet) without any particular difficulty. The GPS unit on the Navman doesn't interfere with the sdio card. The sdio card DOES stick out of the PDA a bit.

All things considered this is exactly what I hoped it would be and does the job - can't ask much more than that.

5SDIO WIFI Card for Pocket PC  Jun 25, 2009 By Norman B. Worthem
I bought this unit for my MIO 168 Navman Pocket PC. Comes with software that's easy to use. Load it in, follow direction and your up and running.
Does all they say it will do.

2Used a few days and then discarded.  Mar 15, 2011 By Jay Biddle "Gun Weasel"
I just noticed that I never gave this thing a review when I purchased it years ago. Anyway, it's junk. The range is poor IF you can get it to work at all. Just get a new devices with wifi or BT built in and save yourself the trouble. I did give it two stars due to the fact that I was able to get it to work a few times and if it could be made more stable to would have been useful.

5Works with Dell Axim X50  Sep 09, 2010 By Sauropod
Yes, this item does work with the Axim X50. It just has to be installed correctly.

Someone said the card comes with no documentation. Actually there is a mini-CD tucked inside the cardboard flaps of the packaging. It is easy to miss, but it does contain the drivers, a manual, and a quick-start guide (the documents are PDFs).

I chose to download the driver from the Spectec site, in order to be sure I had the most recent version. This was easily done. The site also offers a downloadable manual and quick-start guide. The documents are written in broken English, but they are adequate.

Please note: The driver file must be copied to the Axim and executed on the Axim. Executing it on the hard drive of your PC will not work. Next, you must soft-reset the Axim by using the stylus to press the reset button on the back of the device. Only *after* you've done all this do you insert the card into the Axim's slot. Do not insert the card until the preliminary steps have been taken.

If you follow these steps, the card should work. It works for me.

Delivery from Scott's Stuff was quick, and the packaging was very good.
