This bus actually will move Jun 02, 2007

I too ordered this bus as for $7+ it seemed like a bargain. I was really worried after reading reviews here that it didn't move. So even though this was to be a gift I opened it once I got it too see for myself. I got 2 AA batteries for the remote and tried to forward and reverse buttons and I got NADA. But my title says it moves so what gives you may be wondering. Well in small type they mention that the included batteries with the bus should be replaced so I did and then voila the rear wheels spin when you use the remote. Granted it doesn't move great but it will go forward and backup

You get what you pay for... Jun 04, 2007

It was worth the $7 but that's about it. You MUST replace all the batteries or else it will just make noise and light up, it won't move. Getting it out of the packaging was a nightmare but doable. My biggest complaint is that it just doesn't do much. Sat you press the A on the bus... it says "A!" and then plays a silly tune. But it just has ABC and 123 and that's it. You press the A on the remote and it does the samem thing except it rolls forward and rolls back, whoppie lol. My toddler gets frustrated with it because it will roll out of distance or she won't have the remote pointed just right and it won't work. But when it works she likes it ok. If you have to pay more than $7 with free shipping on it just say no, otherwise just know you're getting an ok $7 toy.

Doesn't move at all Jun 01, 2007
By Cheetah I bought it for its R/C feature. However, it doesn't move at all. The remote controller only works for sounds and lights. Very disappointed.

It's a lot of fun!!! Mar 29, 2008
By S. Hermiz I bought 5 of these when the price was really low. One for my own son who's now 2. I don't understand the people that said it doesn't work. All you have to do is change the batteries!!!!!!!! On both the bus and the remote control. And for the person with the wire issue, you remove the wire, you would know if you'd read the instructions!!!!!!
I had my nieces over, who are 12 and 10 and they played with it more than my son did, it's a great product and the price is unbelievable!
school bus that never breaks Jun 29, 2010
By fari This is a good toy but less for education. We have had this bus for almost two years. Our boys now a bit over three have fun running it around the house, either sitting on or pushing it. It is a heavy duty toy. Certainly a good price.
