Usually ships in 1 business days|
Pile the gang into the Mystery Machine and head for your nearest haunted mansion. Even kids unfamiliar with Scooby-Doo and the rest of Cartoon Network's haunted-house heroes will thrill to the chills of this simple board game. Two to four players spin the spinner card, move their cardboard Scooby tokens (there are four colors), and try to visit each of the board's four corners to find out who's doing what to be scary. The game includes scorecards, scare cards, and a Scooby Snack. --Richard Farr

Super Board Game! Nov 14, 2001
My grandmother gave this to my daughter last year (2000) for Christmas. She was 5 1/2 at the time. She loved the game right from the start. It is kind of like a very simple version of the game CLUE. Although not an educational game, there are counting, following directions, and decision making opportunities. This game is a lot of fun that even I don't mind playing over and over (and my two kids, 6 and 4 do play this one over and over.)

Extremely good Dec 27, 2000

.... Thi sgame is great and it takes 3 minutes to get right into the middle of it. It holds intrest very well, and it teaches kids the ability to solve problems, and use logic to its best. Great overall.

Son enjoys it but poor quality materials Jan 02, 2013
The game concept is really very good. My 5-year old enjoys playing the game and it moves quickly enough that no one gets bored or tired before finishing. Each game only lasts 10-15 minutes depending upon number of players. However, I was very disappointed with the quality of the game board and pieces. The game board is only slightly heavier than card stock and as a result does not lay flat which is pretty annoying. Unfortunately most of the "Scooby-Doo" items we have purchased have had similar quality issues which is a shame.

Simple who-dunnit type game for early school agers (including non-readers) Jul 16, 2012

This was a great game for my three children who are ages 7, 6 & 6. It's not very complicated to learn, but more interesting than Hi-Ho Cherry-O and less frustrating than Candyland. Game play is very simple but spaces on the game board path such as "Trap Door" (lose a turn) and "Secret Passageway" keeps things interesting. The object of the game is to use process of elimination to discover what monster is hiding in the mansion (center of the game board) and what scare tactic it is using. The paper pad used to record which monsters are at the other 4 locations has pictures printed on it which makes things easy for non-readers to play along as well. A good bargain for five dollars from our local Family Dollar store. We had a great time playing this and were able to play two rounds in a row before the youngest 2 had total meltdowns (which is actually pretty good for board game playing at our house). :)
very cool Jan 19, 2013
This game took just a little bit to get the hang of game play but once you do it is very fun. Its not like any other board game I have played and the pieces are simple and easy. not much assembly required. just pop out a few hard card board pieces and cards. you will need to grab something to write with to keep track of your clues on the provided clue sheets. we had a blast playing it and are glad its in our game collection.
