5Great Learning Toy  Sep 12, 2007 By Jennifer L. Grattan "Happy Grandma"
We bought this item for our granddaughter's 3rd birthday. It is easy to learn to drive for a 3 year old. She gives her 1 year old brother rides in it, and he sits still while his big sister drives. She has pretty much mastered the stearing. The radio is great too. It comes in clear, and has the ability to scan for stations. It has velcro, pretend, seatbelts which is a fantastic learning tool. The children know they can't drive/ride in it until the seatbelts are fastened. Everything works wonderfully. We have a large, grassy, yard. It has a lot of bumps in it, and the Barbie Jammin' Jeep has no problems moving about in it. I highly recommend this product, especially for a 3 year old. We are undecided who has more fun...the children driving/riding in it, or the grandparents watching it.

5Only needs one option  Jul 09, 2008 By Raymond Depiano
I bought this for 3 year old Olivia....it was her 3rd birthday.

The Jeep took me 2 1/2 hours to but together......as I put it together I could see that this is a solid and tough toy!!

The only thing that is wrong with this Jeep... the plastic tires....They have a tough time getting any traction on other than smooth surfaces.

I went on ebay and bought the traction grips for the Power Wheel line......what u get is a old sliced rubber tire tube, that u stretch over the plastic tires of the Barbie Jeep. THEN THE JEEP WILL CLIMB A MOUNTAIN!!!!

Buy this Jeep!!!! But add some sort of rubber to the slick plastic tires!!...

3Power Wheels Barbie Jammin Jeep  Jan 09, 2008 By Alissa S. Gregg "Alissa"
My daughter was very excited to get this from "Santa," my son also for that matter. Unfortunately when we took the jeep outside for the first time it definately had some difficulty going up small hills that did not have a steap grade by any means. It made a grinding noise as if the gears were stripped. We are in the process of sending the jeep back and plan to buy another. I don't know if it was just one of those things and we received a bad one or not. We will definately try again because my kids definately loved the toy. Our daughter is 4 and our son is 18 months. Both enjoyed riding, listening to the music and just sitting in it watching TV on Christmas day. I have had other ride ons from this manuafacturer and have not had any trouble so I think it was just a fluke that this happened and once we get a replacement things will be great!

5This thing is fast!  Aug 30, 2008 By Kori Truesdale
This is a tough toy. My daughter (age 3 upon receiving the jeep and almost age 4 now) and her friends have driven this thing through ditches and into trees and sheds. The jeep happily keeps on going as if nothing happened.
Now remember that there is the option to increase the speed from 2.5 miles per hour to 5 mph. If you thought that the 2.5mph speed was pretty quick, wait until you see the 5mph! All I have to say is that you better have a pretty large yard and no traffic around, because you have to sprint full out to catch up while your 3 year old is laughing at you. We have had some good times with this jeep and I would recommend it to anyone with a 3.5 or 4 year old.
The only negatives: the radio wouldn't turn off so we just let the battery's run out and said that it was broken.
-We live on a dirt lot and if there is an incline, the tires just spin out because they are smooth plastic. (The rubber add-ons sound like a good idea).

Have fun

44 wheelin 4 year old  Sep 08, 2008 By Tiffanie K. Johnson "momma cat"
My 4 year old daughter likes her jeep. She was a little scared to drive it at first, but after a few days of help from daddy, she was on her way to 4 wheeling heaven. Be careful not to take driveway curbs too fast...my daughter did and the battery cable came off.
