Not very fun! Dec 27, 2007

"MH53E SeaDragon Pilot"
We bought this toy for our 5 year old son, who loves Pirates of the Carribean. The toy seems smaller than the picture, about 14" long and 12-14" high. The remote (requires 9v battery) has two buttons, one to make it go forward, and one to make turns to the right. Works fairly decently on the linoleum or flat surface, but does not work well at all in the carpet, even very short pile carpet. It will not go forward or turn. The boat rocks up and down as it moves along. Our son, lost interest in about 3 minutes. The figures, cannon, and deck space are too small, and not really useable for kids to play with.

Fun, but a pain. Jun 20, 2008
By Andrea Hunt I bought this for my 5 year old son. He loved to make it move around because it looks like an actual ship on water. He got very bored with it, very quickly. Also, it pieces have a hard time staying on the boat. The main boat stays together fine, but the sails, string, rope ladders, and front of the boat don't stay attached to their proper place for very long.

Cool Toy Jan 07, 2008
By L. Altomare I bought this pirate ship for a 4 year old boy and he loved it. The motor inside was a little loud, but other than that it's great. He played with it for hours and to be honest I did also.

A really gud one to play with Jan 18, 2008
By Helio I bought this item on Amazon only after reading the description. Didnt really understand how it works. But it turned out to be much better than my expectations. The boat really rocks as if its sailing on water. Nice creativity even with the 'Skull remote'. Doesnt move so great on carpet but is cool to play on a smooth wooden or tile floor. Infact, me, my sis and my cousins started playing with them stealing them away from the kids. The movement is absolutely cool and it even spins like a ballet dancer.
Cons: The only problem with this toy is that there are too many attachments which come with it. And they dont really stick together while playing. These pieces keep falling off the boat. (Even poor Jack cant hang on the rope for long) But at that price, you cant expect it to be extremely good. My suggestion would be to actually stick these pieces together with super glue so that they wont fall out again. And this one also requires 4AA and 1 9v battery.
Playing with it is absolutely fun and kids would definitely like it. It could also be used as a decorative piece in the house when not playing.

Pirates toy Jan 08, 2008
By J. E. MEADOWS My grandsons loved this ship. This was the best price I found for it, also. They put all the little action figures on it and make up scenes for hours.
