Big Price to Pay for Glow-in-the-Dark Jun 18, 2007
By Cameron Scholtz OK so the kewlest thing about these darts is they glow in dark. Other than that, they are just overpriced Micro Darts. Although these darts are the recommended refill for the Hasbro Nerf N-Strike Firefly REV-8, any Nerf micro dart will work in that gun. So if you do not need the glow-in-the-dark feature the NERF Dart Tag Refill Pack: 30 Tagger Micro Darts is a much better deal. (And by the way, the 30-count bag of tagger darts was only $9.99 when I was at Target today.)
One other thing about the glow-in-the-dark darts. They do not shoot as far as the tagger darts or the sonic darts. In my experience both of those travel about 25% further.

No substitute Jan 12, 2009

In a way, I have to agree with some of the other posters' negative remarks, but Nerf is so far the only company to make glow in the dark darts, and if you have to get them, you have to get them.
I broke down and did get these darts even though they are gimmicky, but they do work as advertised. They glow in the dark and it's very cool to see them fly across the room in the darkness. Score one for the novelty factor! They aren't that durable because the glow is just a paper covering over the dart and over time they come loose, so you have to be extra careful to make them last. In nerf wars, I don't use these darts because they are more fragile than the other ones and I care more than hitting the other guy than seeing them whizz through the room in the dark.
I think it speaks volumes about it's popularity as this the only type of dart that Nerf doesn't make in 30 packs, but if you want glow in the dark darts, Nerf makes the only ones.
Buyer Beware!! May 20, 2012
By J. Hamlin These do not work with a many "N-Strike" guns. It only works with N-Strike guns that have the clip system. It's easy to look at these and think they will work with any Nerf gun--the size is about the same. But it won't. I have all non-clip N-Strike Nerf guns and they work with none of them. Hasbro does have on there that they are for the Clip system, but there is no warning they won't work with the other N-Strike guns. If you aren't aware there's a difference you may end up buying a lot of these like I did and then find out your out of luck.
Additional Adhesive Needed Jan 22, 2012
By Gentileschi The package contains foam darts with rubber tips that glow in the dark, and a sheet of glow-in-the-dark stickers to wrap around the shafts of the darts. The glow quality of the stickers is very good; they are bright and long-lasting once you charge them. However, the adhesive barely sticks to the darts, and the stickers peel off after a few minutes. Should be OK to fix them with Scotch tape.

Two boys' review: Negatives outweigh the glow gimmick Mar 05, 2009
By Jared Castle We bought a packet of these glow-in-the-dark Nerf darts for our sons' Nerf Nite Finder EX-3. The glow darts don't fly as far nor do they fly as accurately as the micro darts that were included with the Nerf gun.
Do these darts glow in the dark? Yes. But for the price - almost a dollar each - the negatives outweigh the gimmick. I recommend the Hasbro Nerf Mega Micro Dart Pack if you like to use suction cup tips for target practice. For tag players, try the Hasbro Nerf Dart Tag Refill Pack: 30 Tagger Micro Darts instead.
