Monopoly - X-Men Collector's Edition

Take a ride on the Blackbird Mark II; do not pass GO; do not collect 200 Mutant Power Points. And so it is with the game of Monopoly: X-Men Collector's Edition, the customized version of the classic real-estate trading game that attempts to meld Pyro and Beast with Parker Brothers. As in the traditional version, players buy, sell, and collect rents on properties. In this version, the properties are Mutant Property Cards and board spaces, and players' mutant powers are enhanced by erecting bases and headquarters (the X version of houses and hotels). On this game board, Mediterranean Avenue and Baltic Place become Toad and Vanisher; and Boardwalk and Park Place give way to Wolverine and Phoenix. The Free Parking and Go To Jail retain their original graphics, however. --Tony Mason
