This was my sons favorite Christmas gift. The plastic army figures are mini sized and very easy to carry/store in a small 5" x 8" school supply tote. Hard to find mini plastic army men Feb 03, 2010 By Bikeler
My boys really wanted a set of "mini" plastic army men, but I couldn't find them in stores. I was thrilled to find them on Amazon. They're the right size and come in two separate colors so my two boys could each have his own army. The sets are durable and come with right-sized jeeps and tanks, too.

These soldiers are the perfect size for hotwheels or matchbox cars. I bought my son some matchbox army sets and these soldiers are nearly the exact same size as the guys that came with the matchbox set (unfortunately only 3 army men come in each $8 matchbox set).

Not quite as cool as the matchbox army men, but almost (these guys are all the same color, matchbox are painted 3 different colors), you get about 200 actual soldiers, the jeeps and jet are junk and very crappy, but it's worth the price for the men, very hard to find ones that match scale size as matchbox cars! Now my son can use all his existing cars and his little matchbox and hotwheels cities with his army people! Woohoo!

I bought these to combat my older brothers army men but when I read the lable I thought it said 15/16 and not 5/16 of an inch. I was astonished at how small they were. I was looking for an army of men not elves (what we now call them). it comes with a plane, two tanks, four jeeps, two flags and their poles and 239 army elves. and to make it worse I had other guys before them, the ratio is worse then david & goliath. it's comical. to see men and elves fighting against my brothers huge forces. and a personal thing my, brother already called america and I am definately not going to be germany! so i made a compromise, I decided to be the north pole. not what I was expecting, but stil very fun.

There are plenty of tiny army guys in this set! They are small so keep the young ones away. Great for Dioramas and school projects!
