I have been a fan of the Littlest Pet Shop line of toys for years, and couldn't have been more ecstatic to see that the toys were re-released in a new form. With the Little Lovin' Pet Playhouse, you are treated to a combination playhouse/spa, that comes complete with a dalmation bobble-head puppy, and a bobble-head hamster. The two pets - along with any other Littlest Pet Shop Pets you would like to add to the Playhouse - have the ability to open boxes magically with the touch of their magnetic paws. The hamster also has the ability to go through a fabulous tube, and even run in a hamster wheel. Complete with doggy doors, and various secret nooks and crannies for your pets to stretch out and relax in, the Little Lovin' Pet Playhouse is sure to take the world over with a vengeance.

Awesome toy - for young boys & girls! Mar 03, 2005

Love this toy. I'm truly amazed at how my fun my daughter has playing with this. I never write reviews, but after cleaning up for the evening, and setting it up for tomorrow, I caught myself having big fun. So I felt compelled to write the review and give it 5 stars. Even though the little hamster door falls off. It's easy enough for my 3.5 yr old to fix by herself. Just pops right back on. We've also got the hamster set, and an additional set of dogs. All the little bobble-headed animals are freakin' precious. My daughter gets totally engrossed and animated playing with them, making them talk and pretend that they are all brothers and sisters. Very, very, very cute toy.
Buy this! And be ready to watch the enjoyment.

My daughter bought this with her 5th birthday money and she loves it. She would probably rate it five stars, and immediately started asking for more pets to go with it. It is portable, and does close up tight. Close the right-hand side until it clicks, then close the left hand side until it clicks. The hamster wheel slides onto the window seat that has a slightly rounded shape. I haven't had any problems with the hamster tube falling off, so we use it as a handle. Our front door, however, is held on with a rubber band or else it would fall off twenty times a minute. The rubber band is clear so it is not very noticeable, and my five year old could care less because the puppies only use the doggie door anyway.

This is such a cute toy! My friend's daugher had the older set that she had found at a consignment store and I really thought it was cute when she showed it to me several years ago so I was very excited when this set recently came out. I bought the entire set for my 5 year old daughter including all the tiny portable ones. She absolutely loves it! I agree with one of the reviews above though.... I don't care for the big head bug eyed look of the animals but it is still cute. The only flaw I have seen is that the animals are supposed to have a magnet in their mouths so they can pick up a bone, ball of yarn, carrot, etc. It's very hard to get the magnet to work and when the bone or ball does stick it's not at their mouths, but rather right in the middle of their faces which looks a little funny but my daughter doesn't really care. We keep everything in a small rubber maid container since everything will not fit inside the toys. Overall it's a great toy that's fun and cute, seems very durable and is a great price. What more could you ask for?

I have loved littlest pet shop for a while. I am 10 years old. I also enjoy little things. They seem to adorable! This is a great toy for people who LOVE animals. I love animals and I have always wanted something like this. For all the animal lovers out there, this is a great toy.
