My son loves this toy so much! It is not only a flashlight, he can also push it along the ground and it makes sounds and toots. He loved it so much we got our nephew one.

Flashlight fun Jan 19, 2007
By Mother of Five I bought two of these flashlights for my two Thomas fans for Christmas. They are a HUGE success with the kids. I only give them four stars rather than five since the train sounds tend to drive me up the wall!

Nice sound and light for a train Jun 11, 2007
By D. Sato My son is not completely into the Thomas line like other kids but he enjoys the sound and flashlight from this Thomas piece. Another kid had it and when he saw it he wouldn't let go of it so I ended up getting one for him. He will push it around and use the light in dark places. He is only 2 1/2 years old so problably when he gets older I can see him sleeping with it in bed. Our light bulb stopped working after just a couple days so we had to buy a replacement bulb which fortunately is not very expensive. I am not sure how durable it is as we have been careful not to drop it but it is made of hard plastic. Nice combination of train sound and flashlight for the little one.

Okay toy Dec 08, 2006

My son loves Thomas, so I thought this would be a great toy. Unfortunately, I guess it wasn't made for a rough toddler. After just several days of getting banged around, poor Thomas' light doesn't work anymore. I could replace the bulb, but my son will probably just break it again.
My son does enjoy pushing it around by it's handle and the sound effects are cute.

Eats batteries Oct 07, 2009
By Wix We love Thomas and this flashlight is a very well made toy. It has been a hit since we purchased it for DS's b'day.
I expected a flashlight to eat batteries but this one REALLY goes through them. So we resorted to rechargables.
DS sleeps with this flashlight nightly.
