Relief at last!!! Feb 25, 2005
By Lisa Z. Schwartz My busy 13 month old son has had serious separation anxiety. None of the many 'stations' in my home seem to keep his attention for more than the moment I am beside him. However I finally broke down and bought yet another chunk of plastic and hello! I made dinner, ate, swept the floor, and am sitting to write this review without the guy clinging and screaming on my leg! Miraculous! My 7 and 4 year old are equally involved in the play. They have guided him as he mastered the rock climbing and the slide climbing. I pray the interest lasts until Spring! Easy assembly too! My husband will be surprised when he gets home from work! Buy it, you deserve a break too!

Too Small, Too Hard Oct 01, 2005
By Laura Uldrich We bougth this slide for our daugher when she was 1 because she loves the slides at the park. However, I had not idea it was going to be too small! Her feet almost touched the ground when she sat on top of the slide, and I had to help her up almost all the time becasue the 'rocks' are really hard to climb - even though she has been a huge climber since she could crawl! I wish I had spent my money on something bigger and more substaintial. She is two now, and hardly ever plays with it!

Climb and Slide May 11, 2004
By Hollie Sims
"Hollie"
I was a bit skeptical to purchase this Climb and slide set after reading the reviews, but decided to give it a try. We got it for my daughters 1st birthday so I was a bit ify to whether or not she'd be able to master the climbing part. It took her a whole 2 days! She's barely walking and can climb it like a champ. She loves this. It didnt take long at all to put together either, however, when putting it together, part of the plastic decking cracked a little bit. I called the little tikes phone # and they sent me a new part in 2 days!!! Overall, I am extremely satisfied with this and would recommend it. It also helps that if something is wrong, the Little Tikes customer service is very friendly and will help you out.

A Push Toy Sep 06, 2004
By T. Pederson We got this for my daughters 1st b-day. We wanted something for her to use indoors in the winter. It is so light weight that when she went to climb on it, it slides away from her and she ends up using it as a push toy that she walks behind. This would not be as big of a problem on the grass but carpet is to "slippery".
The Slide is SO short and angled right into the floor. My 2 year olds legs almost touch the ground when he is sitting on the top of the slide. Then he goes down and his legs get jabbed up into his body when he reaches the bottom. My son did the durability test and it failed. He stood on it and shook it like crazy. It looked like it was going to fall apart.
This slide would be great for a 1 child family of a small one year old that is very strong and good at climbing. My daughter was able to climb the "rock wall" after a couple tries but most kids her age (that I know) couldn't. We returned this slide because I knew we couldn't keep my son and all his friends off it and it seemed very unsafe. My son picked it up and pushed it over on his sister. Also there is barely any room for a 1 year old to climb up and turn around before going down the slide. My daughter just went head 1st down the slide. She thought it was great. I didn't.

Great indoor climber Mar 28, 2004 After doing some research on a small climber, I decided on the Little Tikes Climb and Slide Castle and it's been a BIG hit in our house. I have a very petite 13 month old who has just begun to climb on things and she loves this toy. She mastered the rock wall immediately which was my main concern. My daughter is on the climber all day long. My son also loves the climber and he is almost 4 years old. Although he is a little big for the slide, he still enjoys it and is getting just as much activity and exercise as his sister. Assembly was super easy, I did it myself in less than 10 minutes with children clamoring for me to hurry! The size of the climber is perfect if you do not have a lot of room indoors. We live in a small condo and we have it in our great room. At night we push it off to the side and you hardly notice it's there. All in all a great investment and a very fun toy for your little ones.
