5Our new favorite toy!!!  Mar 11, 2003 By stephanie
I love this toy! We have not had any problems with the wrong letters like the other reviews. Maybe they have made an improvement. My 3 year old just thinks it is a lot of fun, but Mommy love that he is learning so much. He sings the song with the train so he is learning all of this letter sounds. He is even learning vowels because whenever you put one the the train, he chimes in the leaps voice and says "vowel aboard"
I have recommended this toy to anyone who would listen! I absolutely love it!

5Indestructable Train!  Feb 18, 2004 By c2
If you have boys, get this train! It is SO educational but durable. Ours has been dropped, kicked, sat on, you name it and it just keeps on going. The only problem with this toy is that you probably need to get the rechargable batteries since it requires so many and they really don't last very long unless they're Duracells (yes, there really IS a difference). This toy is just adorable and my other complaint is that I wish they would make more track and more blocks to put into the caboose.

5The best Choo Choo train ever!!!  Mar 20, 2004
If you're looking for that one toy which will get your child's attention then look no more because Leap frog has created a winner. My 3 year old loves this train. When we set up this train, she just fell in love. It's very sturdy, the train itself looks beautiful and makes very realistic sounds. Also, the tracks are also quite long and wide so no fear of the train falling off the tracks. Best of all, they can learn their ABC's with this train and the blocks are just awesome.

Personally, I haven't seen a better looking train so far. Go Leapfrog!!!

5Great first train  Jan 05, 2004
We were looking for a train set for our 22 month old son. Most train sets we were looking at were for children at least 3 & up. We love the Leap Frog products so we were confident that this would be another great educational toy. He loves his "choo choo" and plays with it all the time!!! He loves switching the blocks out to hear the different songs and sounds of the letters. The only feature that would I change would be that all the train cars would be connected. The last train car detaches from the rest of the train. Since my son knows that it comes away from the rest of the train, he likes to take it off (which has a tendency to put the rest of the train off track).

4PROBLEMS WITH TRAIN  Jan 28, 2003 By DAN MILLER
I FOUND THAT THE BLOCKS WHEN INSTALLED WOULD NOT READ THE CORRECT LETTER. THIS IS NOT GOOD WHEN YOU ARE TRYING TO EDUCATE YOUR TWO YEAR OLD.
