2Overpriced & Ungainly for little hands  Feb 21, 2009 By LegaLily "Kathleen"
It should have come with the camera. As a separate item it is way overpriced. Though cute, it is ungainly for a child's hand and is difficult for tiny hands to zip. It will, when the children can get the camera into it, protect the camera, but it will require a parent's help to do so. It gets dirty quite easily because of the cover's composition.
The biggest problem is that there is no strap or handle - none - just a tiny tab to which I had to attach a caribiner so it could be hooked to a back pack. I hope it will be secure enough. This seems to be a case of planned obsolescence. I also suspect that if I look around, the manufacturer will be attempting to gouge the consumer by selling a 'strap' separately, though, I didn't see one at the time of purchase.
