Dressed in colorful PJs, a nightcap, and slippers, this playful talking Bedtime JoJo doll converses with little ones about getting sleepy and preparing for bed. With over 20 phrases at her disposal, JoJo gives advice and encouragement, like "Before bed, we need to brush our teeth," and "Yay! Good teeth brushing!" She also asks questions like "Do you have a favorite bedtime story?" so kids can respond. Little buttons inside the doll’s hands trigger the recorded sayings. Though her body is plush and fairly cuddly, JoJo does have a hard plastic head and a rigid sound device inside, so she may not make the softest bedfellow. And, as with any speaking toy, parents may weary of hearing her little voice. Her bedtime bear friend Clownie Brownie is included as a bonus in this package.
