4Teenagers Music Joy  Nov 28, 2007 By Ima Pearson
This puppy was first of all adorable. When I opened the package up and put batteries in it, it made a cute little bark and glowed to show that it was ready to play.

Now I've heard that the microphone wasn't really good- I'd have to disagree. The microphone perfectly suited my needs. To those of you who blast music in their cars, it may not work as well, but otherwise its fine.

The one thing I was disapointed about was how much it moved, which was not very much. It often appears as if he doesn't like the music and remains motionless.

I would reccomend this as a gift to a teenager who loves music- it matches perfectly with a green Ipod!

4super gadget!  Feb 19, 2008 By Tom Clancy Fan
A great little toy! I got it for myself, after seeing one that had been given to my grandson. I was actually looking for some small, inexpensive speakers to attach to my cd player. It did not work well with my Samsung mp3 player (volume level = non-existant), but it works fine with my ipod and the Sony cd walkman. The only problem I have is remembering to turn it off so the batteries don't run down - it's a little difficult to get into the battery compartment.

3Ugh, marketting to tweens  Jun 02, 2009 By Cynthia Lopez-martin
My daughter REALLY wanted an Idog do we got her this one. Mistake. It doesn't do anything. And you cannot turn off the motion even though it says you can (she ended up getting two other idogs, different models, and this is a problem on all of them). The mechanical sounds are REALLY REALLY loud for an item that is supposed to play music, you have to turn it up fairly loud (and the sound quality is kind of crap) in order to hear the music over the noise of the dog moving. My kid was happy and she uses it still because she's 10 and doesn't care about sound quality, but it annoys me.
