"Traveling Mom"
This is a great toy. I got this for my 4 month old, but my 21 month old loves it too! The fish are small for little hands, and they all make a different sound. The little fish are also machine washable, which is great when the little one gets ahold of them in her mouth. I must admit that the big fish often gets filled with many more toys than just the little fish that it came with, but I will certainly buy this for a baby gift for friends!

"happy mom"
My 9 month old daughter loves this toy. She finds the crinkle and rattle fish particularly exciting, she even loves gnawing on the big plastic fish. The only thing I think could be improved on is the red fish, it's supposed to squeak, but the squeaker is tiny and hard to manipulate (even for me). She generally tosses that fish aside and plays with the other two.

We bought this as a Christmas present for our 1 year old baby but it turned out her 3 year old sister who really liked them.
The 1 year old does like them, especially the crinkly fish, but her older sister almost never lets her play with them! She has named the blue fish 'Dory', the red fish 'Marlin' and the green fish 'Nemo' and the big fish is "Bruce, the shark". Obviously a Nemo fan, but still it has sparked endless play for her.
These are a great inexpensive toy and extremely durable. And for anyone who is worried about the big fish pinching fingers, then just take it away and let little ones play with the 3 fish. Then when they are older and can open and close without harm then give the big fish to them. My 3 year old has not once pinched her fingers in the past year.
Highly reccomend!

I received this as a shower gift. My baby began playing with it around 5 1/2 months - he loves it. He rolls it around, enjoys the crinkly fins, and the 3 small fish. I like that I can "store" a few other small things inside to take along to grandma's house.

one little fish rattles, one squeaks and they have a hole in the bottom so you can use them as finger puppets
