My Girl Loves It!!! Oct 30, 2005

My 10 year old bought this game with her own money and she loves it. It is a neat little console that is easy for her to do herself, in that I don't have to go set it up for her every time. The console has a little hatch on top that opens up for storage of the remote which I thought was a brilliant stroke of genius given the age level this game is for. The educational value has impresseed me thus far. It teaches that you have to do chores in order to buy things (although the chores are a bit pricey in my belief $20 to do the dishes???) and that your studies are important as well. It even touches on using your time wisely and social interaction. So I give this game an overall score of 5 stars!!

WOWOWOWOWOWOW Dec 01, 2005

This is a great game for that up and coming pre-teen in your home. You have asmall conmtroller with three buttons on it. You plug the game into the Tv and wala you are ready. THe game is basically like a SIMS for pre-teens girls. This means that you create a girl, her hair clothes ect. Kind of like the old paper dolls. Then you create a life for her. You create her room. You Get her into after school activities, you take her shopping, she even does chores. THis is a great game for a girl to learn about money and budgeting. But better than that. She will not think she is learning and thus she will enjoy it. Great game. Well worth the price.

Great family game Nov 13, 2005
By Josi's mom I play this game with my daughter, and I am absolutely shocked by how much I enjoy it, especially since I don't like computer games. At first, I played just to be "helpful," but I quickly found it so much fun that now I turn on the game even when my daughter is not playing. A couple hints:
1)To get to a dance, on the evening of the dance, exit your room and move around to the different buildings until you find the dance. Though you don't get to actually see yourself dance, you get to "mingle" and you get friendship points much faster at a party or dance than in the rest of the game. 2)If your wardrobe fills up, sell things in your closet. You need room for the next seasons' clothes anyway. 3)Just before homework or a test is due, "study" two or three times, then the parents will give you money to buy things like radios and computers. 3)Take a job as a newswriter and later you will have the opportunity for higher paying jobs like editor. 4)Get crushes by saying that you like a boy when a friend asks. Then you can "dance" with that boy at a dance and get friendship points really quickly. 5)Having clothes in your wardrobe and friends with five stars translates into more points when you start your day. This makes it easier to get the highest points possible for the day since you can focus on lifestyle instead.
I've played this game through to the end once now, and I'm finding that what I enjoy now is different from what I enjoyed early on. At first, I just wanted to acumulate all the pretty dresses. Now I enjoy mixing and matching separates. I've made some pretty cool outfits. And I love getting trophies for various activities. I'm loving this game. If you find it boring, you might try looking around a little more at all the different things that can be done. This game is really fun!
