Watch out for Mold! Oct 08, 2008
By TurtleGirl922 I gave this paci to my Daughter when she was only a couple weeks old and she really liked it. I was breastfeeding and liked the idea that it was "like mother". The problem with this paci is that where the soft latex and hard plastic meets there is a seam that saliva can get into. Over time it gets funky in there and mold can grow. Unfortunately, you can't take apart the binky in order to clean it. Even boiling them didn't work. I did end up using these until my daughter was 1. I just watched them and threw them out when they started to get weird. So if you don't mind cycling through binkies every few months then give these a try...

Updated product without BPA Apr 28, 2009
By J. Paine These are the only pacifiers my infant would use (we tried many others!) but I knew that the outside ring contained BPA. While the nipple is silicon, my son would often suck on the outside ring as well. In March of 2009, I spoke with a Gerber customer service rep who confirmed the news that Gerber changed the formula in their manufacturing process and were now coming out with BPA-free pacifiers. After ordering and receiving this product, I was able to compare UPC codes to the one they gave me, and this is indeed the new BPA-free product, although it doesn't say that on the packaging. (The picture here is of the old version--the new pacifiers and the packaging look a little different.) Now I don't cringe when my son is sucking on the outside ring of his new pacifier because I know it doesn't contain BPA.

Better than all the rest! Jul 13, 2007
By M. R. Mintz This is the best pacifier out there for breastfed babies or babies who will only take the one from the hospital. My son wouldn't take any other pacifier but the one from the hospital. I tried every kind. This pacifier is amazing because it creates a sucking motion like that during breastfeeding. I buy them in bulk! I would not use any other kind for my child.

Saved my Life Aug 06, 2010
By Lil Diva I love this product. My child could not get by without this. This perfect for breast feeding mothers. It also allows you to see anything inside your babies mouth.

Fabulous. Dec 22, 2008
By A. Booker These pacifiers are wonderful. I have bought 3 different types for my newborn and these are by far her favorite. I was a mother that was not even going to use a pacifier and after our first really rough night gave up. These seem to do the trick and she can hold them in her mouth much better than the soothies, other gerbers, etc. HIGHLY recommend!
