Sky High Suspension Bridge Oct 30, 2005
By GeoTrax Dad
"GeoTrax Dad"
The GeoTrax train set is very durable and fun to play with. It will hold your child's attention for a long time because it is reconfigurable. This will help your child develop their manual dexterity and eye hand coordination skills. It will also help foster that creative urge from within.
The Sky High Suspension bridge is a wonderful addition to the Geotrax train series. It is very durable, bright and colorful. If you don't have any other "Elevation Series" track, the four gray supports are removable so it can be used at ground level, for 2 dimensional layouts. The length of the bridge is exactly the same as two 6" straight pieces of track, and it is a little wider than the width of the straight track. The bridge (with the supports attached) provides 12" of straight track at elevation level 1. Note that level 0 is ground level. You will need to use the ramps included in the "Elevation Track Pack (RAMPS)" in order to raise the train from ground level to level 1. In summary, this is a great addition to the Geotrax system.
When you graduate to using the Elevation Series of track, you are presented with a challenge to connect all of the track. Note that the track layouts are now 3 dimensional (instead of the simpler 2 dimensional layouts). It does get rather complicated to fit all of the track pieces together.
For some great track layout ideas, perform a search for "Geotrax Track Layout" on eBay.

A Great Bridge Jul 19, 2005
By Joshua Koppel This is a wonderful bridge and much easier to use than the Brio version. This bridge spans two straight track and is supported on the ends (not in the middle like Brio). Additional supports may be added to the middle if you like. The bridge is easy to put together and looks quite nice. A small trolley car is included in the set. Two of the wheels are coated in rubber so that they will not slip. When they turn, a trolley bell rings in the trolley. The bell has made this car one of my son's favorites.
All in all this a fun addition to a GeoTrax set but you will need some of the ramps to connect to the ends of the bridge so like other pieces in the elevation set it will not be useful without the right track.

ONLY bridge included. Apr 10, 2007
By Mom of 3 This is a great addition to your GeoTrax set, however it is deceiving. The box only includes the bridge and posts. You must have the elevation track kit to raise it. You can use it as a flat bridge, but if you're looking for a "suspension bridge" make sure you purchase the additional elevation kit.

geotrax Jan 09, 2007
By Sugar My son Loves his geotrax, he askes for as soon as he wakes up. I'm sure this may wear off in time but since Christmas, he can't get enough of it. The bridge is a fun add on especially the caboose. It had a bell that goes off when it rolls. He loves it.

Must-have Bridge Jan 09, 2007
By Robert M. Holroyd II Unavailable for some time, the Sky High Suspension Bridge is back. Once you have the ramps to get the track up there, it really stands out as a part of the railroad.
Assembly was required but routine; the directions were quite adequate. There are no stickers to wiggle into place.
