This battery-operated plastic cannon features complete sculpted detail and is based on the "Pirates of the Caribbean 2: Dead Man's Chest" movie.
A cannonball will launch by placing it inside the barrel, pulling back the lever, waiting for 15 seconds and releasing it. A trail of realistic smoke will emit out of the barrel after the cannonball has been released. The cannonball will shoot about three feet. Requires 3 "AA" batteries (not included). Cannon dimensions: 9.75L x 4.5W x 7H.

Fun for a few minutes Dec 01, 2007

Although the idea is neat, this toy lost its fun factor after a few times. The smoke solution is dangerous for children and a parent should handle it at all times, which is not by idea of a fun toy. If a child is scared to touch the toy then it is not so fun anymore. Also, after it smokes and you shoot the cannon your child might get bored. My 7 year old sure did. It's a cute cannon, but not worth the money.
