5Great little skates  Nov 07, 2005 By Ty and Cody's Mommy
I bought these for my boys and they love them. They have a lot of fun learning how to skate and we laugh a lot during the process. I like the way that these skates adjust to the skating level of the skater and also adjust sizes. They seem pretty durable and I don't have any complaints.

53 year old loves them  Apr 22, 2006 By Nikki "java64554"
I bought these skates for my 3-year-old son after a trip to the skating rink. He loves them, and he wears them all over the house. They are high quality skates. Buy them with confidence because they are great.

2Horrible design!  Nov 14, 2008 By Savvy shopper "Andi"
I really like the idea of a roller blade version for my son, so I purchased them for his 3rd birthday. Bad idea! The design is somewhat flawed. My son only wears about a size 8-8 1/2 sneaker, but I had a terrible time putting on the skate. The sneaker was such a tight fit, that it took several minutes just to insert past the opening whilst fully enlarged. I don't even think his sneakers are extra-bulky, they are a medium width Sketcher low top. I consider these a waste of money as my son will not get much use out of them. With each new size sneaker, width gets added, and there is no way a wider sneaker would fit easily into this hard plastic. I suggest the regular toddler skate with 2 straps.

5Love It!  May 24, 2007 By E "E"
I bought it today for my daughter who is only 2, she loves it! I let her walk in our carpet first until she gain balance then we move to our deck, now she can walk without help in only an hour! I can't wait when I can let her run all by herself in full speed. It fits perfectly with the toddler up to kid shoes size 1. Got it a lot cheaper from local store, less than half of this price:)

3Stage 2 doesn't really work  Apr 29, 2010 By Anonymous
My 4.5 year old has the skates that strap onto the shoes. However, with only a size 10 shoe, they barely fit. I purchased these because they claim to fit up to a size 12 shoe. Well, again, her size 10 shoe barely fits in it. However, this style of skate is definitely more supportive to the foot/ankle than the other type. I rated it only 3 star for durability because these skates will definitely not still fit when she's in a size 12 shoe.

This inline skate also seems to be more stable than the other, 4 wheel kind that straps onto the shoe. She is having a lot easier time using these in line skates unassisted than the other ones. However, the "stage 2" where the wheels of the skate are only supposed to move forward doesn't seem to work entirely. There is slight resistance to backward movement, but the wheels definitely still move backwards when she is trying to skate. So while she enjoys these skates, they don't entirely live up to what they claim they will do, and this is why I gave them only a 3 star rating.
