If kid is over 3 yrs old, go with the Imaginext. And compare prices!!! Dec 13, 2007
By Athena This toy is nice but for the price it really should include the extra accesories like the treasure chest, etc. Also, do comparison shopping. This is currently selling here by some other vendor for $69.99 while in the Fisher Price website it sells for $20. Target also has it for $20. Now, if the kid is over 3 yrs old, I would suggest going with the Fisher PRice Imaginext Pirate Ship. Much much better and complete. Sells for $30 in the Fisher Price web site.

Lots of fun! Jan 03, 2007

We got this for our 22 month old for Christmas, and like all the other Little People toys it's fantastic. He loves playing with it, and tonight spent most of the evening launching anything he could find out of the cannon (the pirates, the parrot, basically everything BUT the cannon ball!). Our three year old and seven year old have also been having fun with it. I expect the pirate ship to hold up well, since we still have the Little People Farm that we got for our daughter over 6 years ago and it's in great condition after years of tough play! This is a unique and cute toy that kids just seem to gravitate toward. And yes, it's a pain to get out of the box, but well worth the effort!

Awesome Buy! Mar 16, 2006

My 2 1/2 year old son wanted the Peter Pan Pirate Ship from the Disney store. Unfortunately it's $60, looks flimsy and didn't seem near worth the money. When I saw this in the store I knew I had to buy it.
My son plays with it all the time. He loves making people "walk the plank". It allows him to be creative and let's me see his imaginitave playing at it's best.
It's a very well made toy. It's sturdy and has lasted through my son's rough and tough way of playing.
I would defintitely recommend buying this if your young child.

Pirates will over Truckers! Aug 29, 2006
By C. Vernon My 4 year-old grandson LOVES trucks and cars, but the Pirate Ship moved up to #1 on his list this birthday. I don't think he even knew there was another fun world out there other than cars and trucks. He plays with the pirate ship all the time . . . on ground and in water.

Fisher Price Does it Again! Mar 29, 2006
By Erin from Michigan Wow! Way to go Fisher Price! With three children under the age of four, we have yet to be disappointed with any Little People purchase. The ingenuity, the products and the details are always above and beyond! Our 4 year old son had been asking for a pirate ship. With not many to choose from, we were worried we were going to have to purchase a Playmobil that contains too many pieces for our son as well as are too small for our other little ones to be around. Imagine my surprise when I came across this pirate ship! Our son plays with it for hours upon hours and loves the accessories pieces just as much. Thanks again for making playtime at our house fun and enjoyable! "Arrrrr Matey!"
