I bought these for my 7 month old son for Christmas and he seems to really like them. He isn't quite able to play with them the way they are supposed to be, but he is definitely showing interest in them. I think they are a neat idea with the mirror in one, a picture in the bottom of one and the clear bottom one with fish you can shake around. The little frog that sits in them is so cute and has a nice quiet jingle sound when you shake it. The handle on the largest cup is a nice bonus too since they all nest inside one another and can be carried around. I think this is a great toy all around.

these cups are very cute, and my daughter loves to play with them. after she spit up some food in one of the cups (the largest one, which has a sticker inside, a small piece peeled off after i tried to wipe it clean. i still let her play with them supervised.

Cute, sturdy Jun 08, 2009
By Becky We use the biggest cup in the bathtub. My 10-month old likes the rattle on the smallest cup and the bell inside the frog. She's not so much into stacking yet, though, so we're still working on that. :)

By Fantab My daughter had these at 6 months old and has always played with them. Now at 9 months she's found all sorts of ways to play with them - even though she can't stack them (of course, she eagerly knocks them over when I stack them for her). The frog is a very cute rattle for her to shake (actually a bell). She loves putting the cups inside each other. She loves putting anything into the cups, in fact. She loves holding the big one by the handle and swinging it.
Overall, a very successful toy that she tends to select, given several options.
just the right number of pieces Jan 07, 2011

My 13 months old likes them (especially the ball that jingles - she loves balls - and the 'in and out' game, nesting them in different ways). The stacking age is soon to come, but not yet. I like that there are only 4 pieces unlike other 8-12 cup sets which is WAY too many for a child in the nesting/stacking age to handle.
