Bad ink Sep 04, 2009
By Andrew Russell I ordered this to replace the original black ink in my Space Pen. This seems to work as a pressurized cartridge should, but the ink is clearly inferior. It has two major problems: first, it smears instantly when hit with water. So much for the famed waterproofness of your space pen. Second, the ink clots up and smears on the page, and as you right, little trails of the blue ink will stick to your pen and leave track marks along your writing (difficult to describe). This is a very annoying fault - I often find the smeared in on my hands after I finish writing something.
Overall, I would definitely avoid this and stay with the original ink, which is much better (even though it is, unfortunately, only black.)

It's not a toy, amazon! Apr 24, 2009

I really like my space pen, but I wanted blue ink. So, I ordered the refills in blue. Perfect fit and very reasonable price. My sister has a dizziness problem looking down when she writes. This pen is perfect for her.

Satisfied Mar 10, 2010
By Thomas Tate Pricey, but good product. One of a few pens that will not stallout when you least expect it!

Lasts about a year... No smudge Apr 25, 2010

I've carried a small (4") extend-able sized fisher pen for about 15 years. The ink starts rolling smoothly w/o any smudges. There is a review saying they smudge w/ water, but my papers don't usually come in contact w/ water, so I don't know.... I notice w/ the parker pen that the first word has a big glob-- that's never the case w/ these.
