This is a neat item, I bought it for use in a skit about butterflies. I was disappointed though because in the write up about it, it sounded like the battery pack was included, but it isn't so I can't use it like I was planning on it. Neat idea though, will be a nice conversation piece.

Both color and pattern are accurate, and the movement is very lifelike. I give powerpoint presentations on gardening for butterflies and hope to use this little toy as an attention getter.

This Monarch butterfly is larger than what I expected. Its wingspan is just over 5 inches, so it certainly doesn't look like the Monarchs I've seen in the Midwest. (The National Wildlife Federation website says the wingspan of a Monarch is 3.5 - 4 inches).

Too cute! I have my butterfly jar on my computer stand and I just love it. It is very realistic. My cat is facinated by it. I also purchased one for my mother and her friends swear it is real. I highly recommend it to all.

I received this as a suggestion from Amazon and read the reviews...... bought it an like it a lot. We attached it above a plant for the look of a butterfly lighting on the plant. Looks great, would've liked it a bit smaller and battery operated, but like it just the same and may come back and buy the battery pack later. Arrived very timely and in good condition as well.
