Watch in amazement as this robotic Monarch slowly moves her wings, no motor required. Slender butterfly body uses Flexinol Actuator Wires made of a special alloy that changes shape when voltage is applied. Simply plug in the 6V adapter (included) and the heat of the electricity contracts the Actuator Wire like a muscle. The Actuator Wire then relaxes when it cools. This is a neat item, I bought it for use in a skit about butterflies. I was disappointed though because in the write up about it, it sounded like the battery pack was included, but it isn't so I can't use it like I was planning on it. Neat idea though, will be a nice conversation piece.

Too cute! I have my butterfly jar on my computer stand and I just love it. It is very realistic. My cat is facinated by it. I also purchased one for my mother and her friends swear it is real. I highly recommend it to all.

I received this as a suggestion from Amazon and read the reviews...... bought it an like it a lot. We attached it above a plant for the look of a butterfly lighting on the plant. Looks great, would've liked it a bit smaller and battery operated, but like it just the same and may come back and buy the battery pack later. Arrived very timely and in good condition as well.

Paid $19.95 - The Moving Butterfly looks beautiful and elegant. I would have bought two if the prices were lower.
My only concern is the shipping charges which I think is exorbitant($7.50)
