Protype toy must have been different Nov 08, 2006
By James A. Nyman I hope everyone who buys this item returns it has a major design defect that renders it unuseable.
Something must have changed between prototype and production.
Final 3 tracks before motor way too sharp and steep. Will not stay together even for a moment. Car will not stay on track. Every peice of set different.
Maker must recall and re-engineer. Very sorry about sadness and frustrations this toy will bring so many children.

AAAGH - disappointing Nov 04, 2006
By Traci M. Vedros This is what my son wanted for his 5th birthday - and it was all he asked for. He got 2 giftcards, and we went to get it today. It took forever to put together - with only pictures for assembly - no words! Two different pieces keep popping out - and the car falls off of the track after bousing off the railing. I feel horrible that my son spent his own gift crads on this. We also bought 3 additional die cast cars that were above it on the shelf at Toys R Us, but they are too wide to work.
Overall, much longer to put together than was spent playing with it!

My kid won't stop crying Nov 14, 2006
By Mom Please don't buy this toy. It was very difficult to put together, poorly designed, flimsy, will eat batteries, has an annoying sound, and is generally a huge waste of money. My 5-year old lost interest quickly and my 2 year found it so frustatingly flimsy that he wouldn't stop sceaming and crying. Also note that unless you throw it away (thereby granting yourself peace and salvation), it will take up a lot of space because you will be unwilling to disassemble and then reassemble it at a future time.

Very disappointing for the price Sep 30, 2006
By K. Wheeler My 4 year old son received this as a birthday present. My husband and I worked together for about an hour to get it together but we were able to do it. When we turned it on for the first time everyone was very excited. It worked great and my son was having a great time putting all of the cars in his collection in and watching them shoot around - we thought it was great!!! THEN...after a few rounds of playing (within the same day) pieces of the track started coming disconnected. No problem we just put them back. Then every minute or so my son was calling us to put it back together. This toy is a great idea but not well executed, especially for the near $40 price. We put the toy in the closet while we had company in the house and haven't taken it out yet. We are trying to decide what to do with it. Overall I was very disappointed and sorry that his grandmother spent the money on a toy that just isn't well made.

Poor choice Oct 30, 2006
By M. Wall This toy was disapointing! I purchaced one for my son and one for my nephew for a total of $[...] waisted. The toy took a long time to put together and fell apart continously. The boys were delighted for about 15 minutes after wiating an hour or more for assembly and before it broke. Poorly made very cheap.
