Very Nice Nursery Addition for Baby Comfort Dec 11, 2010 By Waterloo
I thought a wipe warmer was an insignficant nursery item when I saw one during my pregnancy. However, my newborn is a winter baby and it has been cold. I live in a generally warm locale but high in the hills where it is chilly, especially at night. My little one hated nighttime changes and when I bought this unit to warm his wipes, things got a bit easier. It's amazing how things you never really considered can make a big difference. The wipes are kept a little above room temperature and can cool quickly, so take them out only immediately before using. The wipes area opens and closes with a slide mechanism. The warmer was small enough to fit for my use and holds alot of wipes. It makes no noise. The wipes were not discolored or dried out at all. I have not tried any of the other wipe warmer brands as I was skeptical of this product up until purchase and wanted to buy one that was simple and inexpensive. It may not have any fancy extra perks, but it is truly functional and well liked in my household. Would recommend to others.

I thought that this would be a nice thing to do, warm the wipes first, I was right. The first week I had it I thought gee, I don't know if this is really worth it, they aren't hot enough, so I unplugged it and realized the huge difference it did make. While they aren't hot (and really you don't want them to be) they are toasty warm and only when you get down to the last 2 or 3 wipes on the bottom are they a little cooler. No dry out or browning. The lid locks and unlocks with a slide latch that makes access very easy to load & stays closed when pulling up. I totally recommend this warmer, would get it again in a heartbeat! If your considering getting a warmer this is a great choice (and a warm little touche will be very grateful!)

I bought this for a friends baby shower. I went over after she had the baby and looked at it, and i LOVED it! I wish i would have kept it for me instead. It really does warm from the top and the bottom wipes dont get warm untill they are ate the top. My warmer make the wipes dry and browns the bottom one, but this doesn't she even loves it because her baby HATES cold wipes! I would recommend this product for all new mothers!!!!

I have both this one and the ultimate prince lionheart brand. The Dex is by far much better than the other! You can pack in way more wipes in the Dex, and I've been using it for 2 months without any "fresh pillows" or anything besides plain wipes. They are always moist and warm! Only thing I've noticed is that once the wipes get low they aren't as warm, but that's not a big deal and they heat right back up once you refill the warmer.

This one is so much better than the prince lion heart one... Dex has the heating from the top, so as long as you have a full box of wipes, they are always warm. It doesnt have any annoying drippy sponges which you have to moisten every week.
A product well worth buying.
