Just the perfect gift Dec 15, 2008

My son had a Dapper Dan twenty years ago and just loved it, took it everywhere we went, I am sure my new Godchild will also love it just as much. It becomes a best friend kind of toy.
I do however thing after so many years of production you should consider making other race dolls so some children don't fell left out.

Great toy ! Jan 20, 2008
By JayCee This is the 3rd "Dapper Dan" I've bought, also have purchased a "Dressy Betsy". Toddlers seem to bond with the doll, and slowly work with the small motor skills of zipping, buttoning, etc.

fine motor skills doll Aug 31, 2009

This is the doll that we all grew up with. Super cute and sort of cuddly. My one problem with it...no snaps. It's great for buttons, zippers, and velcro. The shoe ties even seem pretty good, though we haven't tackled that skill yet. I just don't understand why it has no snaps, which are much harder than velcro.
Dapper Dan, a Cute Teaching Toy Mar 12, 2012
By snowbird1 This is an excellent teaching toy for little ones. My girls had Dressie Bessie when they were small children, and not only was it a fun toy, but it helped them learn to button, snap, zip etc. Glad to see that these are still available.
Dapper Dan Feb 06, 2011
By Eleanor M. Moore I purchased this for my Grandson and was extremely happy with it. Although used, it looked brand new and arrived within a week. The price was excellent.
