Recommended Sunscreen Aug 05, 2008 I like this sunscreen because it's not as thick and tacky like Badgers, but still does not have very many harmful ingredients. The latter is really my main concern. I just bought this last month, but I think I'm going to have to buy another this month since I've been using it up so quickly. I recommend it.
Safety Outweighs Pasty Aug 02, 2008 I bought this sunscreen because it was fairly priced and on www.cosmeticsdatabase.com top ten sunscreens. It leaves a slightly pasty look to skin and is slightly sticky, but the safety of this product is great! A great alternative to high hazard/cancer causing sunscreens. Also the pasty color mostly rubs in. By far a fantastic product for you AND baby!

Great product Jul 23, 2008 I really love this sunscreen. I was looking for a non-chemical, mineral sunscreen and this fits the bill. It does, leave a white residue, but that is to be expected with the mineral sunscreens. It is pricey, but worth it.

What a workout! Jul 20, 2008 My daughter is allergic to any products that contain fragrance. I recently started using their fragrance free shampoos and conditioners for her and liked them so much, I decided to try this product for sun protection. While it comes out of the tub quickly enough resembling a nice smooth cream, the consistancy I can only compare to Elmer's Glue. It took me forever, no exageration, to apply this product to my daughter and even then, it did not absorb quickly and left a milky "haze" on her skin. It refused to go on smoothly and evenly. I tried even rubbing it between my hands thinking this would perhaps make application go more smoothly but no such luck. I love California Baby products and will continue using them but for this one, I think I'll pass and try the TruKid instead.

May have propylparaben = coral bleaching May 26, 2008 Was looking for a sunscreen that wouldn't contribute to bleaching of the coral reefs. I was all excited to find this until I saw that it possibly has "parabens" (propylparaben to be exact) which contribute to coral bleaching. Gonna get this when our baby comes along, but for now, I can't use it to snorkel in Hawai'i. :( Badger sunscreen it is!
