We bought this for my son, a HUGE 'Cars' fan. I was very disapointed as the CD player failed to work within months. It was such poor quality, we are hesitant to buy new CD players from Disney again. Choose another player, this one isn't worth it. [...]

The first time I bought one of these for my son, it was broken right out of the box - specifically the CD motor failed. I returned it for another, and it worked for a few weeks then developed the exact same issue. Horrendously made product, particularly considering its price and its ties to Disney.

This was purchased as a replacement for one puchased for my son last year. It produces a fairly good sound, is cute, and has a nice aux pin port. But it is DEFINATELY not for little ones to handle alone. The parts' design are comparable to standard CD/ radios rather than Fisher-Price style and can break easily. Overall, we love it, though.

In 2007, my son got this for Christmas @ 4-years old and has been jamming out on it ever since! I'm shocked at the other reviews. Not only is our player durable, but the tires are speakers that move in and out, which was a giant hit. It takes 6-"C" batteries OR you can plug it into the wall for power. We bring it along to friends houses for playdates. A DEFINITE HIT IN OUR HOME!!!

This is the cutest thing I've seen. I bought it for my 3 year old handicap grandson and he loves hearing the music come out of the cute tire speakers. I ordered late in Dec. and was told it would get here in Jan. but it came before Christmas. Thank you for this darling boombox that really does calm my grandson's seizures.
