3A little disappointed  Jul 29, 2004 By Proud Mommy "Mother of an adorable four-year old"
The toy looks really good. In the store you can press on the toys hand for a demo. This kind of gives you the impression that when you get the toy out of the packaging and press its foot for the actual dance sequence it will be longer than the demo sequence. NOT!!! The songs and dances are just as short as the demo. This takes a bit of the fun out of it for my 2-year old daughter. If you are used to toys like the hokey-pokey elmo that actually have a substantial performance that your child can participate in without having to stop and press the toy every ten seconds, this is not the toy to buy! The toy is cute and it seems sturdy. If your child is a BoohBah fan they might enjoy this toy like a stuffed animal that they can drag around. The electronic component is dissapointing.

3Cute, but loud and pricey  Jul 29, 2004 By A toy buyer
My two sons get a kick out of this toy, but I wish it weren't so darned loud. It's also on the expensive side for what it is--I agree with the other reviewer who said there could've been more bells and whistles, especially for a show that's supposed to be geared toward educating older toddlers.

5Dance and Sing and Fart Funny Little Orange Man  Dec 29, 2004 By Troz
This toy is friggin' awesome. Have you ever watched the show? These guys fly by farting!!!!! Then they make a toy that does the exact same thing!!! Press his hand and you are treated to a sweet melodious voice calling out Booh-Bah!! Then it rises and hPFFFFTHHBF!!! It blows a wet one and stands up. Isn't that awesome??!!! The educational value is excellent as it teaches you a deeper respect for this great show!! And they're durable as heck too. We desperately needed a football and it was the closest thing we had. Three games of hardcore football free-for-all and it still sang, farted and danced!!! A little victory jig for our winner, Gweedo. All in all you'll have a "blast", learn to appreciate British creativity, and play a mean game of hardcore football free-for-all!!
Peace out yo,
TROZ!

4No eduational value whatsoever but so what...it's fun!  Jan 15, 2005 By Jewel
I go to great pains to review toys and I give alot of thought to educational value before purchasing but when I saw this boohbah at the store I thought so here is my one "junk" toy for Christmas. My 2 year old son loves it and the whole family gets a kick out of watching him react to it. Many reviewers were dissapointed in the short play time...HELLLLL0! How many times have you picked up a toy, pressed the play button and thought "how long is THIS going to go on"! I for one am relieved that my son can enjoy this toy and I don't have to listen to it for five minutes after he has walked away from it.

5no, not educational... but super cute!  Nov 26, 2004 By Dane Gallivan "wanna be kid"
I would agree that this toy doesn't offer anything educational...but my 16 month old loves to dance with it. It's very entertaining to him and us! We have the orange boohbah and he is super cute! My son wiggles his head and pops up and down right along with him. He loves it! The noises crack us up! Great for a 1-2 year old who is at that "I love to dance" stage.
