Beloved in our house, but don't expect it to last Jun 24, 2008

My three-year old son is obsessed with all things Bob the Builder, so this was the perfect Christmas gift for him last year. I had a terrible time finding a plush-style Bob (one that wasn't also a flashlight, which we DIDN'T want), so I wound up finally coming across this one. It was a huge hit from the first second he unwrapped it, but the quality is pretty low. The tools on his belt maybe last 4 or 5 days before falling apart completely, as did his belt buckle. It's also surface-wash only, which isn't ideal for a toy that's getting dragged all over creation by a young child. Needless to say, in the 6 months that Bob has been in our family, he has become a ratty, stained little guy. My son, of course, couldn't care less, but I wish the manufacturer would make a slightly higher quality version that would retain its tools in one piece, and could be tossed in the washing machine every once in a while.

purchased this for 2 1/2 year old grandson. It is the perfect size for him to carry with him. He has not put it down since he received it. He carries it everywhere. He points to the video, and then touches the dolls nose, and keeps saying "Bob". I have ordered two more for a backup, just in case he loses it, or the dog gets it. He has had it about 5 days, so I don't know how durable it is yet. It was a perfect find as there was not many things available locally at all except video's. Jean

This is a little plush doll with fabric toolbelt and fabric tools. It's a great little friend for my 2 year old who loves Bob the Builder. Not a bad value, cute little doll, my son loves it.

Is this a joke or what !!!Bob the builder plush toy arrived and it looks nothing like the picture.Its suppose to be new and looks like it was well played with right down to the material on both feet being split. I cannot believe the price for this after I took it out of the tiny box it came in. My grandson loves Bob the Builder And I had a hard time finding a plush toy for him so I decided to buy this even though the price was high. But after opening the box up and seeing the POOR quaility I wouldn't pay 2.00 for this . It looks like a CHEAP arcade toy.
