great time killer Jan 01, 2008

i bought this for the hubby as a birthday gift. the elecronic solitare he had for 6 years was starting to have issues and this one was on sale for $5 on amazon. we really like the fact that it is lit, so if he is on a plane or somewhere dark he can contiue to play w/o turning the lights on. at first he was a little confused on how to play because he was still trying to unlearn the steps from the old machine. but by the second day he was playing with this game exclusively. his only complaint was that the last row of cards on the right is sometimes hard to see. it is faded more than the other cards. like what the other reviewer said, the light is dim. otherwise great little toy for a solitare enthusiaist.

Illuminated 2 in 1 Solitaire Dec 26, 2007

All in all, I really enjoyed the Illuminated 2 in 1 Solitaire. I use it in waiting rooms, bus stops, long bus rides and even a small break from any heavy job I might be doing at home. Since I am retired, anyone would think I sit around all day. This is furthest from the truth. I manage to keep active and, since I don't drive, I ride the bus. That's where this little game comes right in handy. I recommend it for anyone over 18 years old for fun anywhere and anytime.

Lots of fun. Dec 30, 2007
By Aussiegirl I have been having so much fun playing this game. I had another Solitaire game that I had for a couple of years and I played it all the time it finally gave out on me, so I got this one to replace it because I would be lost without one. It looks good and is well made. I only gave it four stars because the illumination could be a little brighter. And you will need to turn the light off if the room is really bright with sunlight, and you will need to hold the game at a certain angle to see the cards. The screens contrast really doesn't do much good, I haven't seen any difference when you adjust it, and it doesn't make the cards any darker. That is the only drawback that I can find. The game is a little harder to win than the one I had before. But that makes it more challenging. On the whole it is worth the money.

Solitaire Game Feb 25, 2009
By The Quality of Life Report

I have played electronic solitaire games before but this one was strange. I couldn't put a lenght of cards over to another pile, as if I was only allowed to play the cards that were showing on the small screen. Very strange. I wouldn't recommend this particular brand to anyone because of that feature.
