It is awesome because it is old and rare. I got it because someday, it'll be worth some money. I am also a Lego collector, and I can say the same with Batman.

I bought this at my grandson's request. He was delighted...I was disappointed. 2 inch tall collectible for $30+. Oh well, don't blame the toy, blame the culture. Later I told him it would be his first and last from me...a book next time.
