A terrific set, but check the descriptions Sep 26, 2008

Check the description carefully when shopping for this product. The contents will be changing in the near future, according to company reps. The current package contains Dark Cheshire and Ayl Shinigami; the new package will replace Ayl with Bael.
This is a significant change, because Ayl is one of the single most difficult assembly jobs I've ever had on a miniature. There are multiple pieces to put together, they're supposed to intertwine, and one of them has no obvious connection points at all. It's far from an introductory miniature.
Bael and Dark Cheshire, on the other hand, are very easy to assemble and paint, and look decent even unpainted.
In any case, this starter set will give you two Dark figures from the Samael (angels/fairies) faction. The set combines the Dark penchant for throwing negative status conditions around with the Samael expertise in fast moving and ranged combat. As a nice bonus, since both figures are from the same faction, this set can be the start of a good Samael army even if you plan to mix Dark and Light.
