I was looking for some time for this figure, as I needed one for a Christmas gift. With a little searching, I found this and ordered it. It is exactly as described, and made a little boy very happy.

My daughter really likes gamera so she loves this toy. The size of the toy is just right for her - not too big and not too small (she is 3 years old). It has nice details as well.

Gamera: Guardian of My Living Room Jan 21, 2012

My four-year-old son found my Gamera Limited Edition Box Set and fell in love with a jet-powered turtle, much the same as I did when I was around his age. Fortunately for him, toys--excuse me, "figures for adult collectors"--like these are now available. This is the "old school" Showa Gamera, so he's not as detailed (or mean-looking) as the new Heisei Gamera of the new movies. That's OK by me, and OK by my son. As far as articulation, there's not much: the arms, legs, tail and head rotate in their sockets. That's OK, too, because right now, simpler is better. Gamera has guarded our living room for a month now and his head and limbs are still attached, which is a testament to its durability. (My son is usually pulling things off in the first 10 minutes.) This figure is reasonably priced and worth every penny.

I have my grandson's hooked on Godzilla. Its nice to be able to find Godzilla toys that I can afford and that they love.

Got this for my 5 year old as a Christmas gift. He's an avid Godzilla fan and is absolutely obsessed with the Godzilla franchise. I can't wait to see his face when he sees what ''Santa'' brought him this year. My only complaint is that it's a tad pricey. These figures can normally be found in K-Mart for about $9.99 each. However, since I've never seen the Gamera figure, I'm guessing the market (e.g. my demographic) isn't ''educated'' enough to appreciate some of the lesser Godzilla characters.
